Construction Begins on JMA-Designed Self Storage Facility
Seattle Construction Inc. began construction on Spartan Investment Group’s 127,700 SF JMA-designed Black Diamond Self Storage facility in Black Diamond, Washington earlier this month.
“I was honored to design this facility which has been three years in the making,” said JMA Principal Robin Murphy. “Throughout this process the Spartan Investment Group has been a fantastic client to work with and Black Diamond Self Storage will be another great example of JMA’s approach to self storage design prioritizing natural light, bright colors, and accessibility.”
Six of the facility’s buildings will be single-story, while one building will be two stories. Units will come in a variety of sizes to fit specific business or personal needs. Black Diamond Self Storage will also offer drive up access for your convenience and heated units to store valuables. Anyone interested in reserving a unit can visit the Black Diamond Self Storage website here.
“The project required aggregating several smaller wetlands into a single larger grouping that extends for many acres to the north,” said Murphy. “Coffman Engineers did a great job working through the civil engineering on this project, and permitting with the Army Corp of Engineers took some time to put this all together.
