JMA is recognized as a leader in modular design throughout the Northwest, delivering original, award-winning solutions to directly address the housing crisis. Our efforts include the design of Idaho's first large-scale modular apartment project and the creation of a modular housing prototype in Spokane, Washington, aimed at solving workforce housing issues. Highlighting our achievements, Cubix Othello — a project secured for affordability through a grant from Amazon's Housing Equity Fund — offers 85 affordable homes in Southeast Seattle.
JMA is a recognized leader in sustainable design, with a portfolio that includes some of the first LEED-certified projects in Washington State. Noteworthy among these are the award-winning Ballinger Heated Storage in Seattle and the South Hill Data Center in Puyallup, WA
Seattle’s Great Wheel, extending 40 feet over Puget Sound, features multiple innovative designs by JMA, including accommodations for 42 climate-controlled gondolas, allowing for 252 passengers at full capacity. Additionally, we designed the popular restaurants on Seattle's Pier 57 and the thrilling 'Wings Over Washington' motion ride, a must-visit destination for tourists.
