Jackson | Main Architecture, P.S. (JMA) designed Cubix North Park, an award-winning, transit-oriented modular mixed-use development for NexGen Housing Partners along Aurora Avenue North in Seattle. The project delivers 101 micro-living residential units, two retail spaces, and seven live/work units, and was the first modular project of its kind approved by the Seattle Design Review Board.
The building utilizes 36 volumetric modular units to house 93 micro-studios, significantly reducing construction duration, site disruption, and transportation costs. Cubix North Park was recognized as a NAIOP WA Night of the Stars Finalist for Multi-Family Residential Urban Development of the Year and received an Honorable Mention from the Modular Building Institute for Best Permanent Modular Housing Over 10,000 SF.
