HYPERSCALE DATA CENTER CAMPUS | EAST COAST, US

Jackson | Main Architecture, P.S. (JMA) provided architectural design and planning for a hyperscale data center campus, encompassing over 557,000 gross square feet. The single-story structure featured a robust steel frame, precast concrete tilt-up walls, and a concrete roof slab on steel decking designed to withstand up to 200 MPH wind loading on exterior walls and 150 MPH on the roof. The campus layout included central administration hubs, access corridors, and two wings per corridor, each composed of repeatable modular elements: compute pods, power pods, and climate pods, organized around an operations core and access spine. Drone technology for maintenance, energy- efficient power sources, and advanced chillers for climate control were also integrated into the design, which accommodated office spaces and parking facilities.
