New JMA Design Promotes “Live-Work-Play” Community
JMA recently submitted a new developer agreement package for Vibrant Cities’ Waterline Homes in Newcastle, a growing community on the Eastside of the Puget Sound.
“This 6-story mixed-use development will include 74 residential units over 2,552 SF of retail space,” said Principal Robin Murphy who is leading the project. “Our team is proud to work on projects like this which provide livable spaces near stores, trails, parks, and community spaces.”
The development, which includes a central parking garage with 104 spaces and scenic rooftop patios on multiple floors, is just minutes away from Hazelwood Park, Lake Boren, and the Coal Creak Natural Area- a protected second growth forest. Newcastle is also home to Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park.
Home owners will not only enjoy ground-level retail spaces, but they will also be next door to the Newcastle Public Library and City Hall. The project, which started in 2018 is slated to begin construction in late 2022.
