JMA Invites Seattle to Play Four Square

JMA will be hosting a four square court for the 2021 Seattle Design Festival as part of the event’s EMERGE theme which is asking participants to explore opportunities for adaptation and interaction.

“Our vision for emergence in Seattle involves the installation of four square courts in public spaces all over the city,” said JMA Designer Che Fortaleza. “Players must quickly adapt to the movement of the ball and laugh at themselves when they make an easy mistake, and it is the perfect game to inspire interaction and adaptation, and ultimately create a sense of emergence.”

The court for the festival has been designed by JMA Graphic Designer Dani Karr and will include space for social distancing. The entire pop-up experience will include prizes, snacks, and more information about how four square can invigorate dead spaces in our city.  Come Play!
