Jackson | Main Architecture, P.S. (JMA) provided design and construction administration services for the Seattle Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) project within a Cyxtera Data Center in Tukwila, Washington. This comprehensive design effort encompassed mechanical, electrical, plumbing, architectural, and structural elements to transform an existing 67,500 square foot 2-story building shell into a fully operational data center. The project included the meticulous build-out of three specialized rooms and a mantrap, totaling approximately 870 square feet designed to accommodate secure access and surveillance to meet stringent SCIF standards. Adhering to local codes and the latest regulations, JMA’s approach ensured the facility supported high- level security operations while maintaining operational continuity within the active data center environment.
