MANCHESTER LANDING STATION | CALIFORNIA
Jackson | Main Architecture, P.S. undertook the design and permitting of the Manchester Landing Station in California, focusing on the renovation of two existing light wood- framed structures. The project, aimed at updating these approximately twenty-year-old buildings, encompassed a wide range of improvements, including the existing gravel drive aisle, installing a new asphalt parking lot with accessible features, and exploring two roofing options to enhance energy efficiency and prepare for future expansions. Additionally, the renovation saw the removal of old exterior wall finishes for new, non- combustible cladding systems, interior updates for new equipment installations, and the addition of exterior stand-by generators and fuel tanks.
