SAAR’S SUPER SAVER FOODS | OAKTREE VILLAGE, SEATTLE, WA

Jackson | Main Architecture, P.S. (JMA) led the transformation of Saars Super Saver Foods at Oak Tree Village on Aurora Avenue North in Seattle, WA. The 42,000-square-foot grocery store redesign optimized the existing space through selective demolition, structural improvements, and enhanced site features, including a new cart corral. The scope included removing invasive trees and replacing them with drought-tolerant, non-invasive landscaping to support sustainable design. Updates also involved removal of the floral shop, revisions to the curb entry ramp, and a redesigned canopy. Interior improvements included demolishing the existing deli to better align with Saars' evolving operational needs.
