Ascend Apartments | Portland, OR

Jackson | Main Architecture, P.S. (JMA) provided architectural design services for Ascend Apartments, a multifamily residential development located in Portland’s Boise neighborhood. Developed by Vibrant Cities, the project contributes thoughtfully scaled housing to a growing, walkable urban district.

The development includes 92 residential units with a diverse mix of microstudios, studios, one bedroom apartments, and lofts. The design emphasizes a restrained, minimalist architectural expression paired with durable materials and intuitive interior layouts that prioritize livability and long-term performance. Resident amenities include a central courtyard, mid-level decks, a fitness center, bicycle storage and parking, and electric vehicle charging stations.
